It may be that you were unable to have the wedding of your dreams the first time, you may be celebrating a milestone in your lives or there may be a reason to mark a new phase in your relationship such as celebrating with your children. Whatever the reason, renewing your vows can be a wonderful recognition and celebration of your enduring love for each other.

I will work with you to develop a unique celebration that reveals your love story and your journey together. All my ceremonies are bespoke and reflect your individuality and my creativity incorporating whatever music, readings, poetry, and rituals you wish to include. There are no limits on the options available to you and the celebration can be as serious and emotional or as frivolous and whacky as you want……you are in control!

Why work with me?

I was married over 40 years ago now and had a Church Wedding as it was that or a registry office wedding which we didn’t want; choice was very limited then. So, when we celebrated our Ruby wedding anniversary and as a result of our life journey together, we decided to renew our vows with a handfasting ceremony. Our adult children were present, and it was a small intimate celebration with just a few friends attending. We had had our big wedding party 40 years ago and this ceremony was about our enduring love and happiness.

Each vow renewal is personal and different reflecting the special and lasting love you have for each other. You may want to renew your vows at any point in time; it doesn’t have to be a milestone anniversary, it can be an annual event, or it can be for whatever reason you choose, or no reason at all, other than an excuse for a great party! Whatever the reason, I would be delighted and honoured to work with you to develop and write the bespoke celebration of your love and commitment to each other.

    We can have an initial chat, so you know I am the right Celebrant for you.

    We will then meet either face to face or via Zoom and I can learn all about your love story and your journey so far. I will establish with you what your ideas and thoughts are for the vow renewal and what your expectations are for the celebration.

    Once I have all the information from you and I gain understanding of who you are as a couple and what you want to include, I will create an exclusive, bespoke ceremony that reflects your unique love story.
