Pet Funerals

A final farewell for your beloved animal companion

Funerals for pets Our pets are important members of our family

And when we finally have to part from them it can be like losing a human member of that family. It is appropriate, therefore to feel the need to mark their passing and this can be achieved by providing an appropriate funeral or memorial service. This can be developed with you and others as their family members, to be delivered at their burial or following cremation.

Their passing should be recognised as significant.

Our pets are important members of our family and as such their passing should be recognised as significant. They deserve the dignity and respect that other members of the family receive and my intention is that they should be given an appropriate ceremony to mark their passing. My promise is that I will work with you to ensure their lives are not forgotten and they receive the ceremony that reflects their life and their importance in your life.

My first pet was a black and white cat that I had when I was about 8.

He was a rescue that was found and cared for by a woman my mother worked with. The woman could not take him home so my Mother was persuaded to adopt him. Whiskey, lived with us for a long time and was the first of many. At one time after I was married and already had two children we somehow came to have five cats and a Labrador! This must have made an impression on our eldest son who is now a vet and has five dogs and one cat! My husband and myself now have one dog and two cats – the one cat is a rescue aged 16, the other one is a rescue from Crete and the dog was from a reputable breeder.
