Let’s celebrate! Welcoming a new baby into the family...
...is an emotional and beautiful experience, providing an opportunity to give promises of commitment and love in that baby’s life. A naming ceremony is as individual as you are and provides the opportunity to have a ceremony anywhere and to do whatever you would like to include. Unlike a Christening there are no restrictions or procedures that you have to follow – it can be your ceremony done your way……. And it is not just restricted to new births: welcoming a new member of the family through adoption; the blending of two families where names are being changed; the start of a new life and a new name for whatever reason, all these can be celebrated with a naming ceremony!

They are our future and at Swans Wing Ceremonies family is extremely important to me. I will create a wonderful naming ceremony that encompasses all the love and hope for the future that a new baby brings. However, as love and hope are limitless, they can apply to all new beginnings whatever the age and whatever the circumstances when the giving and receiving of a new name marks the start of a new life.
If you would like to include personal promises, have music, poetry or symbolic rituals….. anything is possible. Working together we can create a really memorable and individual ceremony that is truly unique.

Contact me via phone or email and I will arrange an initial no obligation chat. This way you will know if I am the right Celebrant for the Ceremony you would like.

I will meet with you either live or via Zoom to go through your initial thoughts and ideas.

A questionnaire or a recorded in-depth interview (whichever you prefer) to gain as much detail as possible so I can produce your perfect, bespoke ceremony.

The choice then becomes limited only by your imagination!

You can include guide parents who write their own pledges or commitments.

The inclusion of ritual elements of your choice such as the lighting of candles, reciting of particular words or the use of water as a few examples.

There will be a first draft of the ceremony for you to review and amend until you decide it is perfect for you

The perfect final ceremony written and delivered for you.

A copy of the final script plus a Certificate of the Ceremony and any symbolic keepsakes that may have been included.
